Maintenance and overhaul for another manufacturer’s machine

Straight arm series from an old machine from another manufacturer to be overhauled, with monobloc gear transmission that requires special care.
The maintenance intervention is complex and divided into two phases.
The first phase is the disassembly, overhaul and replacement of worn and damaged parts, such as seals and transmission bearings.
It was necessary to disassemble the arms and the mold holder heads with replacement of the damaged components.
The first optical analyzes also highlighted the breakage of some transmission components such as pins and gears of the heads.
The second phase consists in building new components compatible with the existing ones, requiring the cooperation of the assembly department and the technical office. All those constructive improvements will be made on the new components, such as to improve the duration of all the old components not necessarily subject to replacement.
